I’ve made this bot out of necessity, which started as a port of the original public passel bot when it released due to discord changing public bot permissions.

So originally it was a 1:1 port that only supported one server. The reason for the port was to have the bot application use discords official API, over using a wrapper API like discordpi or hikari.

Over time, I have added some additional features that would benefit it as a whole. Eventually, with a 2.0 release, the ability to serve more than one server.

So come check it out, it’s complete with instructions on how to self host this bot, and might even serve well as a means of learning the discord API (if I ever decide to got through and thoroughly document it).
